The Byrd House

Theta Zeta held it's first meeting in the Byrd House on December 8th, 1986 and officially moved in that following spring. 

The Chapter House of Theta Zeta was named the Byrd House in honor of Brother William Byrd, Nu '53 (University of Texas).  In addition to purchasing the Byrd House for the Chi Phi Fraternity on December 5th, 1998, Brother Byrd has also been unflagging in his support of Theta Zeta and the House, paying for a fence and driveway for the house in 1994, and a new roof and fence in 2004.

In addition, both the Theta Zeta Chapter Alumni Award and the Chi Phi National Alumni award have been names in honor of Brother Byrd.
